By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Mmm… cupcakes… wait what? Oh. I need lots of practice doing pretty much any type of art. But I need to be motivated/challenged. So if one of you guys *wide hand gesticulation* would like to see something drawn/modeled/stitched/painted/clayed/etched into the side of a 230 million year old slab of petrified dinosaur pewp, tell me! I needs to practice before my hands shrivel up into little raisins. In other words, tell me what you'd like to see drawn, in what medium, and I'll try to do it. Thankies!
Awesome! I'm so impressed by your ability to model in blender, I really appreciate your tips. How do you model, do you start with a cube and subdivide, then subsurf, or do you use NURBS?
I usually go poly-by-poly, somewhat like how @ndy models (watch creature factory). Then I use sculpt when I want to add detail and bake it to a displacement map (in 2.5 this step won't be necessary). I didn't use sculpt for Piko, though... details are done with hair.
